Tomorrow is the big day!

Many Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators have been busy on YouTube sharing bits and pieces of the new Holiday Catalog.

I chose not to tease about it, because you couldn’t see it for yourself until Friday, September 1, 2017.

But, now it is so close — I’d like to share some of the exciting new products I picked up during the pre-launch. I must say I love so very much that is in this new catalog. There are many items I passed, because I couldn’t get it all.

I do buy what I like and believe I’ll use for my various crafting projects. The one thing that I enjoyed about the products in this catalog is that some of them go along with stamp and die sets I already have. For example, there is a new holiday stamp set that goes along with the Coffee Cafe Suite in the Annual Catalog. I think this was the first item on my list when I ordered the beginning of August.

There is also a Christmas set I believe would go well with the bundle At Home With You. When you open the door, there would be a decorated stairs with a greeting and when you open the card there is a whole in the house preparation for Santa’s visit.

There is this wonderful gate in a Halloween bundle called Graveyard Gate I don’t want you to miss. There are pumpkins and lots of wonderful Christmas items that would make a lovely card or display for your home.

Here’s a YouTube Video that may truly get you excited about Halloween card making:

This Haunted Gate Bundle can be an invitation to your Halloween Party. I think it is a wonderful set I may use throughout fall and into winter. A spooky old gate could be quite interesting throughout the year.

While I’m writing this I hear the rain pounding on the roof. There is the rumble of thunder. This is not a tornado or hurricane — it is a California rain storm that was greatly needed. I do enjoy nature’s sound track while I’m watching this great video.

What did you think of the blending technique and the masking? I do believe I could have some fun with this technique.

During the wee hours of the morning or later tomorrow, after the Holiday Catalog Launch, you may find this list helpful:

  • 144965 Merry Cafe — There are 29 photopolymer stamps that go along with the coffee cup framelits dies in the Annual Catalog Page 213.
  • 146056 Ready For Christmas Bundle — This set includes 20 photopolymer stamps and 20 Christmas Staircase thinlit dies.
  • 146018 Graveyard Gate Bundle — This includes 13 clear mount stamps and 4 Detailed Gate thinlit dies.

It’s time for you to get serious about buying a Big Shot. It will definitely take your paper crafting to a new level. You could never cut out that Graveyard Gate as easily as with the Big Shot:

  • 143263 Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine — It embosses, too, with the wonderful selection of embossing folders you can add separately. The Big Shot includes Standard Cutting Pads and the Big Shot Platform.
  • 139684 Precision Base Plate — Recommended to use with detailed dies such as the Graveyard Detailed Gate.
  • 144262 Big Shot Die Brush — New Configuration — To get out the small detailed pieces from your die.
  • 130658 Magnetic Platform — Holds Framelits and Thinlits dies in place.

I do love this video to explain the Big Shot and how to use it:

I hope that was informative. I know this is a big investment, but once you buy it, you’ll be wondering how you lived without it.

Back to the new Holiday Catalog, if you’re into punches, I absolutely love the Everyday Label Punch!!

  • 146030 Merry Little Labels Clear Mount Bundle — Includes 6 rubber stamps and the Everyday Label Punch — This stamp set also coordinate with the 2-1/4 Circle Punch 119861. I recently invested in all of the Circle Punches just to make sure I had the right circle for the job.
  • 144970 Labels of Love Clear Mount Stamp Set — Includes 11 stamps and coordinates with the Everyday Label Punch

I don’t want to overload you with a bunch of product numbers, there is so very much to see in the new Holiday Catalog and I just wanted to point out a few that may be of interest to you. Don’t overlook the wonderful new designer series papers and some wonderful accessories.

I do hope this was helpful!!

When you do place your order from the 2017 Holiday Catalog — please take your time to look through all the wonderful new products. It can be a bit overwhelming. I did miss a few items with my first order and had to make a second . . . and recently a third. The beauty of ordering with Stampin’ Up!® is that you shop securely and your order is delivered to your door. Oh, and you can shop from both of the catalogs with your order — Annual and Holiday. So you can pick up coordinating cardstock and ink pads, etc.

And, your order may qualify for rewards that you include with your order — This is usually on orders of $150. and more. You can order some merchandise from both catalogs — I usually go for the accessories — ribbon, embellishments, etc.

I would love for you to shop with me. You can click that link or the link in the header. I would appreciate your business — order what you want and know what you’ll use. You can always place another order. I know of many Independent Demonstrators who would encourage you to buy it all now while supply lasts. Yes, there will be some popular items that have low inventory or will be back ordered, but I believe it is best to get what you’ll use — you can always place another order and Stampin’ Up!® does a great job in getting the merchandise to you as quickly as possible.

If you do decide to be my customer or even join Stampin’ Up!® as a new Independent Demonstrator on my team, I won’t be bugging you with an endless stream of e-mails. I like to treat people as I’d like to be treated — with respect. You’re an adult and you know your budget. You also know why you joined — maybe for the 20% discount and you have no intention of recruiting or doing parties, etc. That is absolutely fine with me. I want happy customers and happy team members. That will make me happy, too!! 🙂

Remember, Labor Day, September 4, 2017 is a Holiday . . . Stampin’ Up!® will be closed, so your order will take a bit longer to be processed, plus, with so many people ordering, it will take a bit longer to receive your notification that your order has been shipped. For the pre-launch that was my experience, but it did arrive maybe a week later than anticipated, but it did arrive. We just need to be patient.

Everyone has their own taste in making papercraft projects. I can only suggest items that interest me and I know are quite popular — today I didn’t include those, but you’ll see once you open the catalog what jumps out at you. Yes, this is about you and what you would enjoy making and sharing with family and friends.

I would also like to encourage you to think about the Paper Pumpkin promotion going on right now until September 10. Don’t forget to use the code on the banner to the right. It will save you 50% on your first Paper Pumpkin kit. This is a monthly subscription you can order on a month by month basis or for a longer period of time. It is a wonderful surprise in your mailbox each and every month — or however long you wish to receive it. You do get an exclusive stamp and an ink spot plus everything you need to complete that month’s projects. For many it is truly delightful. We all enjoy having a project already prepared for us — we just need to stamp and assemble.

This post did get a bit long, but I took a lot of pictures and wanted to have ample space in which to share them.

I have been waiting for this day when I could begin sharing some of the items I’ve purchased. I also needed to clear off my work space to take pictures. My polishing was a bit too enthusiastic and I needed to clean that up, too. Too much of a good thing isn’t all that good. Oh! My Goodness! I did make a mess!!

Thank you so very much for stopping by!
